Gees Cottage belongs to a courtyard of beautiful old buildings on one of the farms that is central to community life in Beden. It is close to our growing fields where the fruit cage, standard orchard and veg growing takes place. The cottage has its own private access with a large south facing garden, situated off a quiet country lane just minutes walk from a beautiful tor with far reaching views over the moor.
Gees Cottage would perfectly suit a family looking for a longer term tenancy, with children under the age of 8. Young children living within our community are able to attend Tiny Wilds, our onsite yurt-based outdoor childcare facility. Children of other ages are obviously also welcome, but we do not have any learning facilities here, so they would need to attend a local school or be home-schooled.
This cosy converted barn is made up of two light and airy double bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, with a good-sized fitted kitchen and sitting room with a woodburner downstairs. The front door leads onto a partially covered patio with lovely views of the garden. The cottage also benefits from a large, open lean-to with an extra bathroom.
