Hello, we are Leo and Lily, founders and the first settlers of Beden. We live here with our six year old son Tor, our two year old daughter, Spring, and the other lovely inhabitants of Beden.

There are many exciting projects that make up the Beden dream. Along with new parenthood, we run our own companies, Eat Work Art and Tiny Wilds which always keep us on our toes.

Leo has been building creative working communities in London for 15 years and we are now excited to be establishing a creative living community for families in this wild and beautiful place.

In 2016 we found two adjacent farms for sale in a sheltered valley on the edge of Dartmoor.  We have since acquired another neighbouring farm which underwent extensive renovation and is now complete.

Remote and wild usually means isolated, but here at Beden we enjoy some of the most untouched and magical nature in the UK, whilst being part of a vibrant and dynamic community of like-minded families and only 4 miles from a pretty market town.  We are thrilled to now be able to invite more people to join us.
